Beg

By LitOnFire

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

It was so sad, as I turned around and walked away; tears staining my numb face. You watched me go...I remember. You didn't do anything to stop me. I guess it was okay, considering I hated everything you did, and you hated how I actually cared. You told me you wanted to be together.... we were always everything but that. We were always like a little rain shower that only lasted long enough to water the garden and make the birds come out and sing afterwards. I dont think you cared as you watched me walk away, seeing my trail of tears behind me. You didnt care that I could barely hold myself up straight. I wanted so badly to just fall to the ground, and beg. Written October 21st, 2001 © on Oct 21 2001 01:56 PM PST   0 • 1
