...From One Minute...To The Next...

By LitOnFire

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

My life is what you freely walk in and out of. Your always eternally there one minute, and then gone the next. My life is what you awkwardly walk in and out of. I'm always left used and confused, but then you say "honestly, I love you". My life is what you sadly walk in and out of. I want to hold you so badly... too bad your always here one minute, and then gone the next. ...You never give me a chance. My life is what you painfully walk in and out of. It would be so easy on me, if you would either stay for good, or leave for forever. ...Don't just tell me you want me- from one minute to the next. My life is what screams for you in it- so why do you freely walk in and out; from one minute to the next? Written October 24th, 2001 © on Oct 24 2001 06:08 AM PST   0 • 1
