Greener On The Other Side
By LitOnFire
I thought the grass would be greener, over there,on the other side.It was as if I even wanted you,and I hadn't already made up my mind.I never wanted to want something new,but when I reached the other side the color of the grass wasn't you.And its as if I didn't deserve everything I get, because I never thought I would live to regret;the color of the grass, and what you meant to me...I'm now so brown when you were my green. You now have the right to hate me,after I thought there was something better on the other side. And I can understand why you laugh at me;when I beg, and I plead, and I cry. Then you remind me that its over, there's no turning back. You tell me I must be crazy,if I think I'm getting another chance.I can honestly say I don't blame you, cause its as if I hadnt already made up my mind.I now know to never assumethe grass is always greeneron the other side.I really tried to send a message here...through experience!...really take it to heart!
