My skin is waterproof like you I will never be the same again those same questions run through my mind all the time I always reach the dead ends when I am through with my thoughts of you I feel lucky to be alive My skin is waterproof in some ways like days when I tell myself you will never change. You left me so forgotten. I too- have forgotten you. My skin is waterproof can't you tell? Often enough, almost most of the time, I'd get that recycled desperation inside and the anger would rise to the point where I would fall and I'd realize I wasn't holding on to anything at all. And the only thing that would die is the lies that you told. I no longer can love you cuz your shit got old. Sometimes the lines can't begin to explain. I wonder if you think of me when it begins to rain. It's alright, I understand- I'm nothing to you. Anyway, it's okay, it doesn't matter- my skin is waterproof.
