Beautiful Black Line
By littleone23
What's this? A plain, black line on my paper My paper now filling with words As they all flow from my head This line so simple, May I ask thee "How can you be?" I don't understand it I really don't mind I don't see why you're there Ya see? Oh, wonderous Plain, black line You fill my pen with joy With each passing line Each line that I write About you, plain black line You're so simple and complex You fill my head with near rhyme Closer and closer you draw my mind Beautiful, black lineI wrote this in Biology when there was the smell of preservation fluids (I don't know if they still use fromaldahyde still or not) all around me and I picked up a piece of paper out of my binder and it had a black line on it. I'm not quite sure which one inspired me, but I wrote about the line. Written December 11th, 2001 © on Mar 18 2002 10:09 AM PST, Bridget 10 • 0
