If I give you my heart...
By littlestar
If I give you my heart will you know what to do with it? A priceless jewel is wasted when buried deep- undiscovered. First, you must find it. If you are worthy, it will uncover itself to you. Dive below this sparkling surface, deep into the ocean that is me. If you persist;- (are you patient?) if you dare- (are you courageous?) You will find beneath the surface, beyond the dangers that lurk- a priceless infinity, a forever dream. If only you knew the worth-(do you?) You would abhor the vendors with their plastic trinkets which never last, but come so cheap and easily. Will you capture it, only to squander it, neglect it use it for your pleasure and then cast it aside? Or will you know the worth- of the greatest gift. If only you could look with new eyes. If only you knew what is waiting for you. You would never turn aside, You would never avert your gaze. Take off the blindfold of fear and restless wandering. Look with the eyes that never close- The eyes of your heart. If only you were wise, (am I fool to believe or to doubt?) then you would never give up seeking, and never stop discovering the endless rewards.
