Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I see fences where there was no fence before I see children marching out to fight a war I see a woman in her arms a dying child amongst all this rubble was a rose growing wild Chorous And I said why why why must we die this way why why why must we cry and I said why why why must we die this way why why why must we cry I see a man torn from the arms of his screaming wife he's gone off to save thier daughters life, I see a child all alone on a crowded street, too weak with hunger, there's nothing left to eat. repeat chorous I wrote this for my year 9 music exam, I'd kinda forgotten about it, but I thought I'd put it on here and see what people think :) Written March 27th, 2002 © on Mar 27 2002 08:25 AM PST   20 • 0 • 9
