Finding Focus

By lovedreamscontrol

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Am I so quick to fall,That I don't focusOn this hazy reality...I am a girl, beautiful inside. You are a man, drawn by a soulThat 'died' years ago.Not so much died but slipped onA thick coat to protectMy new skin of consciencness. You cannot find that girl, your fallen angel, under so thick a cover.Like heart walls...Is it suffice to say,That lost and hopeful girl still livesInside layers of self destruction. And wisdom grows inside her headWith each new and passing tragedy. You assume and too much it seems,That I've changed my taste for you.I never really change, but findNew additions for the appliance of me.I've found one for you,It goes like this...I care not if you love to love me,Or hate to know the nameof a being who gave everythingto a god who never quite stopped takeing.Who doesen't see the sincerty in his lover's bleeding heart.Who never dared to trust the one that only really trustedThat person in your mirror.I belive it's coming in to focus...I can see the details of this circumstantial love affair. You'll find me in my own world now...Oblivios of you!
