The first snowfall fell in mid-December a surprise like white icing piped onto contrasting , brown trees big fluffs of white cotton candy sat on low bushes Winter birds fluttered, flickered from branch to branch slip-sliding away some lone red berries sat quietly at the edges of a few trees blood red drops a reminder of Christmas holly berries The First Snow Fall by the Master Craftswoman...
