Twinkling fairie lights of Christmas glint though the trees I am in a surreal December walking yet not. I sit with her at an opera medley and enjoy the sopranos and baritones singing lovesongs from La Traviata and music by Beethoven- a Serenading Dance of Swans, young swans in grey and gold en pointe... Suddenly she slumps backward and loses consciousness swirling world usher-nurse,doctor in the house Calmly I did what I was told but the moment was lost Only Hope that she would revive orange juice poured down her throat Color back in her face I fell flat on my face the next day Peace in the midst of a storm...
