Gustus' Riddle
By maru
I wished the winter holidays, But not for being alone, And those cold days, I stayed again. The wind came, From between the stars, For me to go, But I just stayed, Still waiting for you. When you shown up, I was green but dry, I had no water, At all on my arms. The cold winter was leaving, And the nice spring should come, But I shall never know, If it will be nice. I sat next to a flag, With white and blue, And I had a nice view, Of boys and a park. And that was my life, As simply as that, But one day all got black, And no memory I have, From that moment till now. If you know who I am, I would wish to go back, To that same simple life, That I used to have. Dedicated to the students of 1 year (2001) And to Cecilia Ferreiro (Lit. teacher) M. HotesIf you could tell me how to improve my poems, or some techniques on Poetry-writing, I would like to hear your opinion! Thanks! Written November 5th, 2001 © on Nov 05 2001 07:14 AM PST 0 • 10 • 1
