It Must Be Water
By MaryHall
I have a place on frozen water I go and live there now and again The place is dark and the life is harder but sometimes i don't mind Will I ever see the light of day again, or feel the hope? A foundation built upon the frozen pieces of my heart The conversations there are with myself but not my self alone Sometimes I hear the voice of loved ones calling me back from the dead But i don't feel they're desperation And I see everytime I'm here alone, I have no hope Then I wake up, and let the light come in It melts the pieces of my heart, so I can live again I see that my heart is broken when it's frozen, It must be water to be free It must be water...
