Pathetic Tears
By Maxxine
I can see you smiling. I can see you wishing. Wishing that your father Would care to take you fishing. You are getting angry, You don't have a clue How your tears affect me - They stick to me like glue. Now here comes the spring, Some new hope for us all Some pathetic reason to Go take another fall. You've just gone poem crazy. You don't need me anymore. Your feelings have gone bitter And I'm happily ignored. And now I've disappered from your tender gaze And let you disapper into this endless maze. But I will never forget all you've done for me. I'll always remember how you set my anxious heart ablaze.
