Three AM On Saturday Night
By Merules36
Three AM on Saturday night She finally decided It was too hard to fight She was tired of hiding herself From the rest of the world She was stuck in a box And she had no escape Time to unlock the locks In her fragile state Burnt, bruised, and beaten Her heart wanted out There was nothing she could do The world would soon be dark As her skin turned pale And her body cold A complicated female Barely sixteen years old She looked into the mirror And wrote her letters Mom this ain't your fault Dad put yourself in my shoes Sis leave my room alone I love all of you She opened up the bottle And she took out her knife Eighteen pills and the blood poured To end her short life Written December 16th, 2001 © on Dec 17 2001 11:10 AM PST 0 • 1
