(POISE) Proper Orientation Involving the Spine for Elimination
Many of us have poor bowel habits; we hurry in and hurry out; we force ourselves; we take medicines and stick things up our anuses. There is a better way for us to eliminate waste from our bodies. I learned this while observing my dogs urinating and defecating. I noticed that they assume different postures for the different elimination processes. It became clear to me that they were practicing what I call POISE, Proper Orientation Involving the Spine for Elimination. Let me elucidate: When a female dog is urinating, she assumes a #1 spinal alignment; she curves her spine backward, allowing the bladder to have more room. When a female dog defecates, she assumes what I call the #2 spinal alignment. She throws her spine forward giving her sigmoid-colon a roomy and straight alignment thus making the elimination of fecal matter much easier. Humans can have POISE when they relieve themselves. Try it! The next time you need to urinate, throw your “cheeks” backward, let your lower abdomen stretch giving your spine a “C” curve. This will give your bladder a larger less constricted chamber allowing you to urinate with ease. Don’t squeeze hard, let your body’s natural muscular action drain the urine from your bladder. When you need to defecate, do it with POISE, hunker over like a dog on the front edge of the toilet bowl, giving your spine a backward “C” curve. This will straighten out your colon and allow you to defecate effortlessly. You don’t need to squeeze, let your body do the work. There is much we can learn from the animals, the next lesson will be on sexual relations, what I call FRIENDSHIP.Fine, but is it poetry?
