Rapture
I have no time for birds and crumbs and such I scurry about in disarray. A life of focused thought, muscles tight, intenseness in my face and all for naught. Suddenly... there is a loosening, every muscle lax, music in a soft landscape, easy breathing, sighs. For a moment my work is done. Not for good, but for a while. The eye will pass, the wind will rise again, but for the moment, there is a rapture. From "Hockanum Road" Written April 11th, 2002 © on Apr 11 2002 03:08 PM PST, same as above 0 • 12
