today is the eleventh of septembera day that i will always rememberin class one of my friends went to the nursebut little did i know things would only get worsewhen he got back to class he turned the radio onat first they all thought it was a bombbut they were all dead wrongit didn't take them long it was a seven sixty seventhe men flying were promised heaventhey were led by an evil manthat misunderstood the kuranpower fell into the wrong handswhen they died they took thousandsthey were all trained flyerswho attacked the twin towersthey are both now gone along with a part of the pentagonthoses were both national symbolswe're never going to be able to fill those holesthis day will go down in historyand i want to know the real storyalthough i dont know the reasonand i cant come up with onefor who would do such a horrible thingwhat pleasure would such a thing bringand afterwards to hear them cheerwhen they die is that what they want to hearthere is no respect or pride if they doso treat people the way you want them to treat youthis was the worst day i have ever knownmaybe it will be until i am all grownbecause violence doesnt solve anythingall you hear is gunshots and cannons ringand everywhere all you see is deathwatching people take their last breaththat is something you or mewould never want to seebut show respect for all those who passedeven those who caused the crashfor all should be honored and respected especially in deathThis poem is written by my 14 year old son.....it brought tears to my eyes......please tell me what u think Written September 23rd, 2001 © on Sep 23 2001 04:01 PM PST 10 • 0 • 1
