Darksyde's ODDysse
By Midian
I lie here on the beach' concideratley killing time. The moon shines like a precious jewel. As the nauticalmyst pours over the sea. I came here to give in, to the scarred angel within. But as I look at this scene, The light around me glows much brighter, And an amethest angel stands before me. She smiles down upon me. And opens my eyes to see, that which I've never seen before. The Norse war god Tyre steps down, From high Asgard to mortal Midgard. He praises me on the many battles, That i have fought within. I continue on till I find a lone figure, This vampire girl who looks so grim, reminds me of the strength within, She smiles and tells me,"Fight on and Ye shall win!" I travel on this road of possibilities, I meet up with a girl named Nell, and in Australian accent, she reminds me, "Do not forget your own compassion." On I travel, the more I learn.I have learned that I am my own dreamweaver, A talking kittie told me"Be kind to yourself." A mighty DeathGoddess tore herself, from the womb of Hell, she said to me, "Never give up on those whom have given up on theirselves!" I have learned much in this odd adventure, That I have friends, And that there is good in my heart, That I can forgive, And that compassion is the key, to the wall I've built around myself. As all of this sinks in, I open my arms wide, as if to embrace the cosmos, and kiss the sky, when I notice in the sand, Something which shimmers, glowig with heavenly light, I smile in secret knowledge, of the gift left behind, The solitary tear of an angel, I hold it in clenched fist, Tears of my own stain my face, It is good to have friends, I am no longer the lost child, that I was before.
