To the dead fish in the sea I salute you To the decadent whore on the street I pity your putty hands To the Lord of all things I salute the sex you gave us And it is here, in divergence, That everything converges It is here, on this date of creation, I have seen the impossible. I have seen the birth of the mountain Olympus Mons, the beautiful and sacred. The play of the gods are here It is their divine comedy, a supreme mockery Of the words we know none, Of the acts we know all. It is here the most subtle of deceptions is practiced Into the blackened and charred voice The place of birth, life, sex, death Sleep, Air, Breath, Nourishment These we need, these we crave Unto all I enslave you to this Bondage of a body, entrapment of the mind Utter folly and pride, that is my sin To the world I grant you an audience To my wife I grant her my sex, To my life I grant to my God, Yet it is God who grants life Again, I fall into pathos and despair The truth, unknown to so many Works its way like a shard in my heart Death and beauty are yet one, For in death I walk on streets of transparent gold Into the life of you I send my son Christ Heresy and politics, a beautiful companion One and the same, they rely on each other It is here wickedness is spread It is here that Christianity has failed So you see, my son, said the earthworm father To the earthworm son I am long and elongated, yet I drown Drown when the rain comes What does that tell you? My eyes have fallen away from my flesh Instead, I see skeletons and nightmare visions In lucid madness I dream and sleep In waking terror I live and breath In all my days of life, I have come to know one simple truth I am Yet I am not. If he is, I am not. I am; Therefore, I am not So you see, the question is not to live and breathe The question is how do I achieve utter sanctum Man with no face, flesh, or ears Came to me, looked my in my face Touched me, though he bore no flesh And I came to God My sleep is apparent in my madness There, my face is tranquil, There, my mouth does no evil There, my perception is no evil There, I am peaceful, with no disturbance There, I am abnormal, No lust of the flesh, converging of the eyes, Jealousy and pride trouble me not When unconscious, I am not amoral To this world, that is madness Yet to my lover [the one above] I bring joy God, God, wherefore art thou, God? Here I am, he cries Deafness brought on by stupidity With nothing but sin to block me Save me, Oh Lord, for it is you who are the one Emotions run rampant, my God is constantMarch 24 2000, Written October 24th, 2001 © on Oct 24 2001 07:37 AM PST, Michael Edward London beat • nature
