God's White Blanket
By Mizpoeme
Here I lean on my window sill The beauty of this sight warms me even with the chill The snow is frozen with a diamond crust To share this sight it is a must The air is cold causing the rain to freeze Making it glisten and sparkle on the trees The dead of night has fallen The winds voice whistling and calling Darkness comes to life with the full moon's glow Peaceful and mystical is the snow The stars are on fire in the sky Some are oblivious to this beauty, I can't understand why I am encased in such beauty all around When god's white blanket covers the ground MJMP 1/27/01 Written November 30th, 2001 © on Nov 06 2002 09:55 AM PST, Mary Jane 0 • 10
