A Whisper
By mlamont
I woke up this morning and I walked outside. Wishfully hoping that it would be you I would find. But when I saw the void that you left here years ago, I was once again reminded of what used to be home. When you left so long ago apart of me died. And even with all the years passed by, I can still break down and cry. When you looked at me, it was like a whisper. But when you touched me, it was like a scream. And every morning that I awake I walk outside with hopes and dreams, that some day you will bring back the part of me that you took with you. And once again you could whisper with your eyes, and scream with your touch. And a piece of me would live once again. Written January 29th, 2002 © on Jan 29 2002 02:27 AM PST 18 • 0 • 1
