The Cold Wind
By mlamont
It cuts through me like cold wind in december. With all I have I embrace it And it takes so much to hold on to. Even with all my strength It sometimes slips away How can I shiver, but at the sametime, have my heart melt? Forget about what I said soon you will see that in time, it all slips away But remember this moment and when you feel yourself slipping take a walk in your mind And remember what we did. Remember how you made me shiver and how you made my heart melt. And when a cold day comes and you have no one to turn to hopefully I will be on your mind and bring warmth to your face. Because I know when the cold wind blows somehow, my heart will melt away the pain. Written December 17th, 2001 © on Dec 17 2001 02:39 PM PST 18 • 0 • 8
