This Watered One

By mlamont

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Who am I on this watered one out of nine planets we our chosen from. But if the cities crumbled and rivers dried up and the sky turned black would our hearts still rightly bleed? In our universe we are a blink of an eye then why is so hard when one of us dies? Our pain, our suffering can never compare to the joy and love we should rightly share I believe that love does make this earth go round and I also believe its tough to be alive. But in all our faith and in all our pain we should feel safe without disdain. Who am I on this watered one? just one more life in a blink of an eye.
