To be Alone
By moonmama
Sitting here along the wall Waiting for the invitation to dance Is it coming? No. Good, I didn't want to be here anyway I prefer a quiet evening...alone...I Want to be alone. Solitude. A relationship would only mess up my Life. Too complicated...All I know Of people, and of parties, and of fun, and Action-not for me. I sit at home, in endless Stagnation. Is this poem fooling anyone? Not me! My real fear is there is no Love For MeI saw the Survivor challenge poem where you had to write a poem that reads down as well as across. I thought this one was kind of fun to do. Ironic. I don't want to be alone... Written April 1st, 2002 © on Apr 01 2002 03:23 AM PST 18 • 0 • 10
