It's So Hard Being A Woman

Why it's so hard being a woman We have so many expectations, So many dreams to be fulfilled, So many talents , When we'd rather have a thrill, Free education , We'd rather do without, We think we're all so grown, Don't even know what life's about, Its so hard being a young woman Afraid to follow our own paths, We let others influence our lives, Cheap needs and desires dominate our minds, We become frustrated in time, They've contaminated our thoughts nothing positive in mind, it's so hard being a young woman, Money, self-respect and power are  our top three priorities, though many of us lack two of the three, it's all about the m-o-n-e-y , we can't seem to do without  it , but we seem to throw it away on what, false hair, nails and other non-essential things , it's hard being a woman When we finally get something going for ourselves, we vow never to make the same mistakes again , it's only a matter of time before we're back to where we began, true lies false truths, it seems we don't know where to start, if only we were true to ourselves from the beginning, it wouldn't be this hard, will i ever be forgiven  this time, or  will i be forgotten , only time will tell, now ain't that something, take that from  a Young  woman Written by: Lady Rage Written November 18th, 2001 © on Nov 18 2001 01:32 AM PST   0 • 18 • 9
