Darkness...

By munchkin

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I think about what has gone on I sometimes think it was for the best I look out and all I see is darkness No light, nothing I wonder, will the light ever come back Will I ever be the way I was? So happy to be alive, so happy to have that light Will my life go back to the way it was? Frigid and cold The light is what warmed it up. The light made me feel protected The light gave me meaning The light made me feel secure The light was the best thing to happen to me Although the light isn’t gone I feel like it is.Just clearing my head Written March 2nd, 2002 © on Mar 02 2002 04:51 AM PST   18 • 0 • 1
