a Midnight Stroll
A Midnight Stroll A midnight stroll as I softly tread Looking at the earth it seeming dead Finding a flower standing all alone I pick it up calling it one of my own Holding it in my tightly clenched hand Befalling the misery in all the land Seeing the shatter of all that came down For this I see blood and alagore all around I look at the bodies the one's dying slowly I shake my head and look down, feeling lowly The flower it seemed weighed more with my tears This is the day I ever felt fear in long years Dropping the flower, it having a large thud sound Darkness crept around, in the new corpses found Into a hallow of nothingness souls were callin' Seeing the spirits of the one's who have fallen But I see a light above my head, None the less Its now time to go to my Quest to happiness~*~ Just a little something I Thought up, I think it best describes a soul looking at all the madness in the world after a war ~*~ ~*~ Mystery Passion ~*~ Written November 2nd, 2001 © on Nov 02 2001 05:32 AM PST 18 • 0 • 1
