What is man?

By Mystex

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Define man for me. You can't do it. No one knows what a man is, Exspecially we men. Is a man strong and powerful? Sensitive and tender? Smart and intellectual? Or maybe weak and subserviant? Are we supposed to be protectors Or stand back and let things happen? In this world now what are we? Who are we? Women who define what men are Haven't made up their minds. They don't now what they want, Cant decide how they want us to be. At times it even seems As though they'd be happier with out us. Is it any wonder that so many Are lonely, by themselves. Who am I, What am I? I am man, but what is man? Am I doomed to die alone Unwanted, uneeded? Written January 21st, 2002 © on Jan 21 2002 02:32 PM PST   18 • 0 • 10
