Mistress Of The Night

By NanaBear

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Before the Mistress of the Night has spun her shadowed web into a seamless dark, she fastens on it stars, lest dread undo its beauty, causing mortals her great works to shun. Then, lastly, places on the moon... reflection of the sun. The vastness of her tapestry, the contrasts that she weaves, encourage children of the earth in her Lord to believe and fills them with such awe; inspires gratitude and prayer. God and our Heavenly Mother show mankind they're always there. Man sleeps amid the beauties of their works, yet fails to grasp the eternal nature of their goal... his glory is their task. They toil and weave together to bring forth all truth and light, and God rules all in mercy with His Mistress of the Night. and God rules © on Aug 26 2001 04:59 PM PST   0 • 13
