Winter/Life

As sheets of ice lie hidden beneatha blanket of snow - one stiff, one soft -both unforgiving of anyone who mighttry to stop for a short nap; so ice ice cicles, thrown like daggers by the wind at the trespassers -those forced by some necessity to duckand run through the skirmish - warn that'winter accepts no surrenderand takes no prisoners!'The promise of spring lies frozen andburied in the grave, and mortality oftenappears as a bleak and endless winter. That's when we must put on ski's orice skates or snow shoesand move to the rhythm of the season. But beware the frost of complacency -it will numb hearts and minds and biteall the unprotected extremities...until they die.Only those wrapped securely in thewarmth of love will survive to bloomin the spring of eternity.
