The only Inquiry
By Neurosine
The working mind seeks perplexities its previous analogies betray, it worries, then hurries to think some new way. The enlightened mind refuses to trade a new lesson for the ease of the pre-trodden way. It would rather remain, seeking secrets of dryness on a studious walk in the rain. When the mind won’t let go, of what it finds indefinable, it finds refuge in tools, or in ink. As vain worry remains, wise hands call the mind to take comfort in tangible things. The freedom to forsake written declarations to witness the subject they claim to explain, leaves us standing in awe of their epic proportions, no language can contain. A wise will to seek life leaves vanity, which leads us astray, ignoring roads claimed by scholars and scriptures to be the one true way. It will step without inhibition into the unkept paths of the insane. The living mind strives for tastes of divinity, scanning the vast multitudinous stars, to try and conceive of infinity. This soul finds little peace, in the common philosophy of practical need. It is evolution as it asks every question, it’s the final solution, the one the world needs.
