The Usettled Mind

By Neurosine

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

You can not kill a memory, you can not live a lie, all you can do, is wander around, like everyone else, asking why. We can't see the whole picture, we can't pierce the disguise, all we can do, is blunder on rocks, always asking why. I can't know every circumstance, of actions that I divine, all I can do is love the world, and keep on asking why. Written February 2nd, 2002 © on Feb 01 2002 08:26 PM PST, Neurosine    0 • 10
