Tolerance

You've got a problem with my dress,You seem to savor your sour distress,But I’m hip; you're ashamed of yourself, your health and mind becoming a mess,I’m sure you were once very appealing and beautiful,That being all you had, now it’s gone, you’re just brooding, striving so hard hard to be useful…You’re left with much less than one who learned to make itwith their usefulness and their brain. For every derogative word you say, your self image favors you less. You'd really like me to offend you,I guess I should thank you,for not seeing things my way. It’s comforting to know I'm not running your race, with that scouring face, and the look of disgrace, I guess someone’s caused you this pain, or that’s your demon when you’re afraid,it's too bad we live in the same place.I think If I can tolerate a self-hating human, self righteous seeking solace in imagining others as inferior to you; you can summon the decency to stop making me up in your mind full of fear, and tolerate me too....
