Unravel and Fail
By Neurosine
Dread is an old faithful enemy, always there when I'm losing my mind. Steps over and right into me, salting wounds, and disclosing, every bitter lie. Impending doom I know so well, almost an old friend of mine. There to fill the hollow place, that used to hold space and time. I want only freedom and solitude, time to see who I am, and all of the things I must do. Fear tries to kill me outright, then persuade, persistently tries, to make me destroy myself, my body, then my mind. Written April 22nd, 2002 © on Apr 22 2002 12:53 AM PST, Neurosine 0 • 10
