Storms (Haiku + More)
By Nightcrawler
Snap of radience Roar of giants dancing Chill of ice water. The light never ceases to amaze me As I gaze furtively into the night. The other's seem to fear it, But I know not their plight. I am one with the electricity! The fire, the pounding crack! I want to dance among it. While others are curled in their sack. My eyes are lit likes cat's are, As I try to feel the sense, Of loosing all humanity. The scene is so intense. Why do they fear its beauty so? Is there a reason that they cower? I treat the storm as an equal, And crave part of its power. Written April 18th, 2002 © on Apr 18 2002 03:45 AM PST 10 • 0
