I can feel the hot tears welling up in my eyes Trying not to let them slide down my cheeks But I failed I can feel the tears of disappointment seeping out of my closed eyes I can taste hints of saltiness in my tears. I cried because you weren't there I cried because I thought you didn't care I cried because I though you were leaving me behind, using me only as a spare As if I didn't matter, that I am just taking up your air I cried because I thought our friendship was rare. I thought maybe we were 'Best Friends' until the end Maybe what you did seem minor to you, maybe you don't even know What you did to bring these tears to my eyes But to me, I thought you were being unfair Now I can feel a scar deep within me Because I thought you would always be there for me.
