I feel my mind race At an unbelievable pace Running from lifes demeaning face Thoughts never the right time or place Abstract thoughts come and go without a trace. Unexplainable moments never calm, but not sane My mind dances without thought in the rain Alone in my head to handle this pain A pain that leaves a stain Good times lived in vain. It doesn't break for air Can't chance it, it doesn't dare Keeps going along without a care A moment of thought that's sane is rare Relax a moment please, much longer, I cannot bare. I long for a moment when I'm sane and again can think A moment when life doesn't disappear in a blink When I don't feel as if I'm gonna sink Into the oceans salty drink Lost in nights blackest ink. It has a plan of its own To keep me imprisoned completely alone Until one day, when it's strong and full-grown It may empower, control me as it's own precious clone Draining me until I'm weaker, living off my soul, until its only stone.
