She’s my best friend Someone I can always trust Far beyond the days end Where secrets are safe, locks never rust You’ve always had an ear to lend. We’ve talked about everything From school to the hottest guy There was always a shoulder upon we could lean When all we wanted to do was cry And keep the hurt from being seen. Through disagreements and many a heartbreak We’ve weathered it all Sharing a smile, and easing the ache There to break each other’s fall And supporting each decision you or I make. People like you Are few and hard to find With a heart gold and true A one-of-a kind A friend who always knew. My sister, as well as my comrade A partner in crime I have to tell you I’m glad We’re friends after so much time With happy memories, to share and to add.
