Snowflakes of Wonder

By Noelani

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Snowflakes hold a certain power When they're gently falling with such grace An unknown strength, with beauty of a flower Contradicting, are their delicate edges of lace. They fall so silent Putting peace in the air With every snowflake from the sky sent Each one, unique and fair. A sense of calmness Feelings of love Make my worries seem much less All this, from a tiny snowflake from above. The ground turns a pure white Making everything look so clean Oh, it's such a beautiful sight This world that appears so serene. A smile mysteriously appears While I watch with wonder and awe And the skies frozen tears They beauty of the season, tonite, I saw.
