Tender Love

By Noelani

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

From the moment we met I could hear it with each word Someday, into my heart, you I'd let For me, this seemed absurd. I gaze into your eyes so caring Feeling your tender touch And I knew this wasn't just a fling With your every expression, I see so much. A protective arm Wraps around me Keeping me so very warm You and I, are a 'We'. A sweet kiss you then deliver Your hands rested upon my hips With a touch of you, attraction sends a shiver I still feel a lingering of your lips. I've never felt such love As strong as yours and mine I think it's a gift from up above From the Heavens so divine. Written December 14th, 2001 © on Dec 14 2001 10:03 AM PST   18 • 0 • 8
