Two turns to one, My sorrows have begun. The words that we say, Shall carry through the day. My eyes catch a glimpse, Fleetingly, of my prince. Within, I cry out, Sorrows all about. Outside, I smile, Let this pass by, it is a trial. My emotions tearing through me, My only one is he. My life complete, When, with him, I am replete. I feel wonderful now, They all ask, "How?" "In essence," I say, "He brightens my day," And blissful he makes feel, I know he's entirely real. I give him my heart, Never shall we part. In his arms forever, We shall be together. When two turned to one, We'd only just begun. But now one is two, And we begin anew.Written March 27th, 2002 n o s e r i n g g i r l Link to most recent - http://allpoetry.com/poem/5665157 © on Mar 27 2002 01:11 PM PST, Megan McMahon personal • spiritual
