A Very Special Day

This day so long ago, but yet its not It feels like yesterday, the memory so clear I'll cherish the vision, meeting one so dear She change me and my life By being nothing but her It didn't take her long to make my heart hers It was planted with a smile Feelings blossomed into love so complete It surrounded and held me Love was the air I breathed We managed a moment stolen from the start A minute and hour, loving what we got I soon realized just how precious she was I saw all around her the sweet glow of her love She opened her heart and gave me myself back I worried from the start, what she ever saw in me This vision of mine, was so important to me I loved how she talked, her views so fresh I could sit for hours discussing her thoughts She opened herself, knowing my love As days turned to months and months turned into years This vision of mine grew more in my eyes I loved all about her, nothing to change Time spent with her flashed bye All gone in a instant In all the time pasted, I want her to know I've learned so much from her I know now what love is, I'll not be in doubt I'll not sit in wonder, seeing others together I'll know I was loved no matter what comes Sweetheart, my love for you will always be there It's not dependent on anything you do Love is there  for you always, so please listen to me I love you not for your love at all but I love you instead for all that you are Written December 6th, 2001 © on Dec 06 2001 12:55 PM PST, John   0 • 8
