Where Have You Gone?

By OctaviusIII

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Life fades from my empty life Into an empty gray I long so much to feel you here I just want to feel some touch God where have you gone? Are you leaving me for broken? Are you leaving me so frozen? Cause all I want is to be happy again God, my Jesus Christ You've felt this loss While you died and wailed Moaned in your unforgiving pain If you survived your cross, maybe I could live through mine It's just so hard When I feel nothing from you God where have you gone? Are you leaving me for broken? Are you leaving me so frozen? Cause all I want is to be happy again All I want is to be happy again Happy again Happy again...Written for a friend of mine, this was inspired by both what he's going through and some of Jars of Clay's new lyrics. Feel free to add it to music if you're so inclined, and as usual, any criticisms are welcome. Written March 14th, 2002 © on Mar 13 2002 05:56 PM PST   20 • 0 • 1
