I challenge you
By OldePoet
I challenge you I challenge myself And I challenge life Can you tell me one simple tune That danced away from this summer June? Up, where and above in the sky Do tell me where the moon abides, I put my palm faced down to the ground I look and see and say, why do I play? Tulip, such beauty contain within, For I didn’t say flower for it hasn’t bloomed within the hour It’s an opera of the stars! While day belayed it warmth around, why? Tingles! What daring nerve my skin should feel Love, What mystery it carries; long soulful deep Does and is it ever a reality For a poem to understand with a sane-full mentality? -Nick Audet Written December 5th, 2001 © on Dec 05 2001 02:26 PM PST 0 • 10
