I stopped at a red light,and noticed the car in front of me.The car is shaking from side to side.I squint my eyes to look in the back mirror,I see a man turned around hitting an innocent child.Striking the child so hard and so many times,causing the van to shake.I stare at his expression,covered in rage.I think to myself,does he feel better?does he feel stronger now that you hit a child that couldn't defend himself?you have no power other than your hand.Eventually he stops after several times.I stare at the passenger, she is covering her eyes,probably wishes he would stop this.What did the little boy do to have to be punished so harshly?talk to loudly?cry?As the car drove along,I felt horrible.I couldn't help this little child.I have been in the same place,and I just watched the van drive off,knowing this will happen again.STOP THE VIOLENCE!**True story that happen today, that I wanted to share** Written October 3rd, 2001 © on Oct 03 2001 07:19 AM PST 18 • 0 • 9
