I keep on drifting like a ship out to seafalling into blue love and into debt jigglingfor a man with dangly diamond earrings; studs.Flowing pony tail hair that walks white sand beaches, spitting mouthfuls of mush with years before he will be anyone. We both ache in secret memorizing age differences. His body two thousand shades of bronze with golden hair, puzzles held in an envelope smile. In the silence the ocean moves and moves, and he comes to me with sand dollars in his hands. As the seagulls scatter upwards, to their mothers, starfish sigh under baggage of sand, and all that is quiet is magic, steaming with shrimp dung; fresh meat in the air.One of us will need a month in the country,to ward off imminent complications to our meaning of love.Thoughts surface and come to me sideways, and I step out of my body, word for word, as I become the salt-water perfume of the world in which I go under, as a skin-diver I remember to take a breath of fresh air,and a wink to the stars to remember him by.
