I know what I'm about to write Will probably make you mad And I'm really sorry But the things I see are sad. I know you guys have been Best friends forever But have you ever thought That maybe it's past due time For your fucked up friendship to end? When has Joe been there When you've needed him to be? Was Joe there all the times You were down And felt defeated by misery? Mike please tell me... Where is Joe When you're far away? When does he ever wait for your call Or drop a line to say "Hey man how was your day?" Does he ever care About how you're doing And if you're okay? Does not having you around Affect him or his life In any way? Does he worry constantly Day after day? Why is Joe only wanting you around When its convient okay? Would Joe do anything for you That I haven't done? I know the old line 'Bros before hoes' But ask yourself just one time Is Joe ever there Like a 'REAL' friend should be And if you died tomorrow How much would he care? Sure he might show up For the wake and funeral But would he visit your grave And mourn with sorrow? Mike take the time To stop and think Has Joe been there for you At all In any of the ways That I have And does Joe love you The way that I do?
