...imagining me a lover...

By PHuZen

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I love how my skin embraces the thought of another Folding, bending, caressing your surface style Hugging you being around me and you become Mold for bodily functions. You become defined in my soft skin Toying with nerve endings and tweeking mental capacity With a twist and turn. You are what I imagine, a nothingness Occupying a zone of me, so are you. Anything I could become without corners, sharp edges Without a horizon line to end it. Spouting lyrics through me, infusing me with that gentle love you diffuse The resonance of interconnection and the harmonies we produce adopting eyes who gaze and the choreography of seduction Singing sonnets to me through a medium of favorable conduction I love how that skin takes me and separates me from that great outside. How your body protects me and Leaves all tangibility aside. Against darkness we assimilate a state of translucency so I'm letting your love shine brightly through me. We outweigh the brilliance of the moon putting worlds to sleep as your soul sings its tune. Written December 11th, 2001 © on Dec 11 2001 07:14 AM PST   18 • 0 • 8
