The wanderer

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Feeling dead, but still I’m walking Leaving no tracks behind Who am I? Casting no shadow What am I? No reflection in the mirror Am I dead or alive? Cannot end this existence Believe me, I’ve tried Can you help? Drive a wooden stake through my heart Would it make a difference? I’m desperate for an end to this curse Can you blame me? No longer a part of this world I wander with the wind, searching for answers Written August 29th, 2001 © on Aug 29 2001 08:14 AM PST   0 • 1
