she was the only one who danced half way decent was her reply as she swirled to leave defiant the black straps of her gelled hair whipped about and struck me in my left eye blinding giving me the excuse to cry I had long needed knees weak I trembled as she slammed out the door dressed in black a shiny raven leaving behind my quivering remains a tiny bit of plaster fell to the oak floor as I fell to the ground clutching the invisible footprints i love you come back to meI am new to this site...tried to enter the challenge that kevin wrote about...the break up of a girl friend...etc... but it wouldn't accept it...so here goes...i'll just post here...never have broken up with a girl before...am a happily married woman to a man...but thought i'd give it a whirl...i do have a teen aged daughter...so know how the hair flicking thing goes...ha ha Written October 1st, 2001 © on Sep 30 2001 04:07 PM PST   10 • 0
